Kayaks: For wave riding or a serene ride around the sound, Island Cycles offers kayaks – both singles and doubles. They are stable for beginners yet fast enough for those more experienced. We even have fish and dive models for those who want to tackle their other two passions. Paddles and Coast Guard approved lifevests come with your rental.

Surfboards: We also offer surfboards. The soft topped style is perfect for beginners and requires no wax. It is also much softer in case of spills. We also have glassed boards for the more experienced rider. Lessons are also available.

Surf's up!!

Boards: We rent and sell both fiberglass and wood skimboards as well as slick body boards.

Ride the sand . . .

Don't try this at home!!

All of the fun watersports are available in both the Avon and Hatteras shops.
